Living in Saint Petersburg has been a fascinating experience. The drastic change in weather, from the tropical climate in Indonesia to the cold Russian winters, was the most significant culture shock. But the rich history and beautiful architecture of Saint Petersburg make up for it.

The food in Saint Petersburg was a big adjustment for me. Indonesian cuisine is very different from Russian cuisine. I missed my spicy and flavorful dishes. However, I've come to enjoy some Russian dishes like borscht and pelmeni

The language barrier was a huge culture shock for me. Not many people in Saint Petersburg speak Indonesian or even English, so I had to learn Russian to communicate effectively. But it's been an exciting challenge, and I've met some great friends here
